THREE PRONG CHANDELIER
Within an English country home, the guest bath has a tub and fittings reclaimed from another part of the manor; the drapes are of a James Hare silk, and the carpet is by Ryalux.
DRIPPING CHANDELIER
Monique Lhuillier's bathroom in Bel Air showcases a custom-made lighting fixture by Foundry, white-oak cabinetry, and a photograph by George Hoyningen-Huene.
SIMPLE SCONCES
Simple lighting provides striking contrast to this busy Finnish wallpaper in the 1950s adorning the walls of this Manhattan flat powder room, decorated by Katie Ridder. Hanging above a Waterworks sink, a FontanaArte mirror echoes the wall colour.
CRYSTAL SCONCES AND SHALLOW CEILING LIGHT
The master bath sinks by Urban Archaeology have Dornbracht fittings within this glamorous West Village loft. The seat cushion is covered in a Holland & Sherry terry cloth, sconces and the ceiling lighting are 1960s Italian, and the floor is granite.
LOW-HANGING LAMP
Designer Darryl Carter creates a master bath that is accurate for his Virginia farmhouse's roots by employing a very simple lamp he designed for the Urban Electric Co., a sink vanity made out of a walnut table, plus a slender mirror that sits in the front of the windows.
CANDLE SCONCES
In the guest bath of this Los Angeles farmhouse, a chair is upholstered in the California state flag, the fixtures and sink are by Waterworks, the custom wallcovering is by Nathalie Lété, and the door is painted in Farrow & Ball's Studio Green.
